The Analog Thing with a program on its patch panel.

This Wiki contains documentation about The Analog Thing (or THAT for short), an affordable Open Source Analog Computer with a focus on education, hobbyists, programmers, scientists and everybody interested in non-traditional computing architectures. The computer can be assembled/recreated by anybody or purchased by anabrid in a near-to net cost price.

This wiki shall contain all documentation of the computer, but also user-generated content by the community. Contributions are welcome and much appreciated! There is no prescribed structure and you can just start adding your content wherever you like. A decent amount of moderation is applied by the active users, but we invite you to create an account and start sharing your ideas and projects. You cannot do anything wrong: The wiki saves old versions of every edit. This makes it easy to undo mistakes.

Where is what?

You can find the main navigation menu on the left. This menu is expected to grow along with the material in this site. So far, there is base documentation about some aspects of Hardware, Software and Applications.
