nanoscope is an open-source Python-based desktop oscilloscope that works on Linux, Mac, and Windows. It is designed to work with an extremely cheap and portable Arduino Nano (~ $10) for data acquisition. You can find it on GitHub:, and can see a demo of it running OscilloFun here:
